How does your dog feel when you reach for his collar?

Once of the first things we teach, is conditioning your puppy to feel good about having you reach out to hold or lead him by his collar. Too often, we grab the collar to stop our puppy's or to take them away from something, or put them in a crate etc. Very quickly they learn to 'skirt' your outstretched hand to avoid being held or may even cower when you reach out. Let's teach puppies and dogs to love having their collar held so we all feel better about having to reach for your puppy at times.
